Stream College Basketball Games this Season
College basketball games stream live throughout the regular season on a combination of streaming-only services (like ESPN+, SEC+ and BTN+), basic cable stations (like ESPN, FS1 and Stadium), conference specific TV networks (like SEC Network, Pac-12 Network and ACC Network), local TV channels (like ABC, CBS and FOX) and regional sports networks (like FOX and CBS Sports Networks).
We have constantly updated databases of college basketball games, the streaming services and TV channels the games air on and TV plans for cable, satellite and online streaming providers. We combine all this information in tables throughout the website to help you decide how best to live stream college basketball games and which TV plans are best for you to watch college basketball games this season.
TV and streaming sports networks divide up college basketball broadcasting rights coverage by conferences. Of note, most every conference will air at least some games on ESPN, ESPN+ or one of its many sister channels. And all networks divide up conference games based on the home team featured.
It's also important to note not every college basketball game broadcasts on live TV. The games that make it to traditional broadcast TV are typically considered the most popular match-ups or biggest rivalry games, all according to the network's discretion. Larger programs tend to beat out smaller ones. But if a team from a smaller school is doing well they are more likely to make it onto TV that season.
Given that, luckily there are several other ways to watch college basketball games throughout the season, in the form of a variety of streaming options.
How all this works and which networks can and will live stream which games are detailed just below, broken down into sections to include all the conferences the network can stream or broadcast, what kind of network it is and its live stream and mobile app download links. Keep in mind you will need login credentials to gain access to any of the live stream feeds. All exceptions and needed info is included in each section.
Streaming-Only Options: ESPN+, ACCNE, BTN+, SEC+
ESPN+ is far and away the most popular option for live streaming college basketball games as this streaming-only extension to ESPN live streams in excess of 1,500 college basketball games from up to 16 conferences each and every season.
The other three streaming-only options are conference specific but if you're a die-hard of the ACC, Big Ten or SEC you will find many important college basketball match-ups specific to that conference with these options.
ESPN+ and BTN+ are additional monthly subscriptions beyond any cable plan, while ACCN Extra and SEC+ access come included once you subscribe to a cable plan that includes ACC Network or SEC Network, respectively. The app links provide all the many devices the ESPN app will work on, while BTN+ works on any Android or iOS device that can access the app market.

Basic Cable Sports Networks: ESPN and Others
ESPN and it's family of TV channels broadcast a majority of college basketball games on television. And they feature the home team from most every single conference in the NCAA, all except for the Big East, CAA and Patriot.
Look for Fox's FS1 and FS2 for a good number of Big Ten and Pac-12 conference games, and to be the home of Big East college basketball games.
Stadium is technically a basic cable channel that comes with most cable packages out there. But you also might be able to pick up Stadium with a digital antenna hooked up to your television at no cost, just like any other local channel. And of note, many times their main Stadium live stream sometimes works without needing to login at all - completely free. Good deal as Stadium airs several college basketball games throughout every season.
NBCSN is included in basically every basic cable package but only carries A10 games. While beIN Sports only covers the C-USA and you will have to be more observant to make sure you get that channel in your cable provider's plan.
All live streams and mobile app live streams require you to login with your cable credentials, whether that is from traditional cable, satellite TV service or a cord-cutting provider like YouTube TV or Sling.

Conference Specific Networks: ACC, Big Ten, SEC and more
Cable providers offer all of these conference specific television networks, sometimes included in a plan and other times offered as add-on sports package. Channels like Longhorn Network and BYUtv are technically more regional in nature and often come included with your regional sports channels if you live in that region.
Every conference specific network airing college basketball games offers a live stream you can access on your computer, tablet or mobile device and they all work on a variety of streaming devices detailed in the links provided in this table. ACCN, SECN and Longhorn channel are all owned and operated by ESPN and bundled into the WatchESPN site and app.
Local TV Networks: ABC, CBS & FOX
Every local TV channel broadcasting college basketball games allow you to live stream their televised games on their website or mobile app if you login with your cable credentials.
ABC specifically airs Big 12 games while CBS and FOX cover multiple conferences. As stated above, games airing on these large local networks are typically the bigger match-ups of the year - the biggest schools from the power 5 conferences and top-ranked programs of any given year. All college basketball games airing on your local ABC, CBS and FOX channels are nationally broadcast.
Regional TV Networks: CBS, FOX, Roots Sports
Finally you have college basketball games broadcasting on regional television networks. CBS and FOX Sports Networks come standard with any cable provider that includes a regional sports package in their lineup, and the games you get depend on the region you are viewing or streaming from. You can sometimes pay extra to gain access to additional regional channels from CBS and/or FOX that you are 'out-of-market' from.
Root Sports Northwest is specific to that region but can be added to a cable package upon request for a small extra monthly charge (likely bundled with an add-on sports package).
Live streams and mobile live streams from these channels are entirely dependent on the location you are attempting to stream or view from; access to content is regionally dependent.
